I would prefer anything over WMP. that said, I've been happy with MediaMonkey. I bought the Gold version (lifetime license) to get better rips and to get an easy to use sleep timer.alikhan, post: 34814, member: 247 said:

I use either VLC or Clementine.
When I was using Linux NetRunner I found out about Clementine and I love it.
But then again. I'm not that picky about my media player. Just as long as it works
I'm fine with it.

i like VLC and MPC Star Tiger Player, please add these two in your voting list. Thanks in advance.
I use Winamp to play directories (folders) full of FLAC or MP3 files. They can be 10's of GB in size and Winamp does it's job. I have the pro version and have used it since 2000. I also used MusicMatch before stupid yahoo bought it and closed it down. I have a CD of Music Match and have it running on a XP VM. I wonder if it would work on 7, 8 or 10?
Windows Media Player is my choice. :) It does the job perfectly.
I'm a media monkey guy. Although I do run iTunes as I can AirPlay right to my Marantz receiver at home...that's very nice.
Yea until wmp croaks or something it gets the job done so far,
In win-10 it was a little slow it showing all of the goodies like the play list column but did eventually appear without me doing anything :/
Tried some skins for it Xbox skin is pretty cool and there are a few others
Nice to see you here Archie![]()
I DJ on Second Life once a week and bought a player called VirtulaDJ. I like it, probably more than I need, but its a nice player/broadcaster.
