    Watching Videos on hdmi

I watch a lot of videos using the hdmi in Windows 10.
Is there anyway to pause the video and then restart it with hdmi? Normally I use Media Player Classic watching the videos.

Hdmi is a connection from computer to your monitor or tv

Media player classic has a pause button second button over from left blue highlighted button

That is all well and good but once the video is shifted from the PC to my big screen tv, there are NO controls on the PC monitor to pause or do anything else. The only thing I see that can be done is stop the video.

This is what I have had to do and it is a PITA. After stopping the video, I start it again and scroll thru the video until I find approximately where I stopped it. I then start the video at that point and shift it to the tv to continue watching.

    Like I said "PITA".

The SPACE bar normally pauses and restarts video, doesn't matter if its being projected onto a different display, the PC still controls the video.

Most players have a set of shortcuts, not always very easy to find, but on most space will pause/ un pause… I wouldn't be surprised if a free player exists that allows you to bookmark the video you are watching so you can close it then pick up later. Don't think Windows media players of any version do that...someone will probably say if I'm wrong.

Pejole2165 thanks again. I will have to do some research for players that may allow book marking.
