    Program For Finding Duplicate Names

Greetings. I have a very large collection of Movies & TV Series on 31 external HDD's.
I have been collecting for years and my memory is not what it was.

Does anyone know of a program, that will index all of those drives and will enable me to search the result for folders/files of the SAME NAME?

To be more precise: the program needs to show all same name folders/files, without me entering in any name or extension, etc.

CCleaner has a dupe finder and you can choose as many drives as you want.

Tried CCleaner. Unfortunately, it will not do what I want:
(1.) It can only search HDD's that are attached to the PC.
(2.) It does not show Folders. Most of my movies and TV Series are in folders.

It looks like I need a program that can Index all of the HDD's and then search the results.

Try this too, I use to find files, but can delete within it's results TOO.

See settings for selecting ONLY drives you wish to search, very flexible free tool.

If you use glarysoft's suite, it's also part of it.

Try Duplicate Cleaner - Find and remove duplicate files The pro edition is better for movies and TV series.

A basic thing I didn't see mentioned [pardon me if it is] is that no 2 files of the exact same name can exist in the same Folder. It is possible to have a file in a Folder and a file of the same name in a subFolder of that Folder. And the file name includes the Extension. That 'rule' goes back a ways. Adding a single character to the file name changes the rule.

I use Webminds Easy Duplicate Finder [paid for] to work with pictures, music and videos, also on multiple drives.

I have folders with the movie name. Inside that folder is the movie. If I have a duplicate of the movie, it will most likely not have the exact same name but the duplicates will share something in common. For example, If I have many of the Avenger type movies in a HDD and use the drives search for Avengers, it will list all movies with that word and I can see if I have a double up of a movie. The program I am trying to find is one that will list every folder in a HDD, that has more than one instance of the same word., without me having to type in anything. I will look at Webminds. Thank you.

As I need to scan 31 HDD's and they can't be all connected at the same time, the program will need to index the drives and then search that index for duplicates, without me entering a particular word. It will need to display all folders/files with a word that is common to two, or more, folders/files.

I many be wishing for the impossible. lol.
