Microsoft Digital Image Pro or Suites

I'm a regular user of Microsoft Digital Image Pro. Unfortunately, I had a really old computer so had an old version. I believe it's Digital Image Pro 9.0.
I've been trying to find the equivalent version that will work with Windows 10. I just got a new laptop that has that. I'm having trouble finding one (photo editing software) that is compatible with it. I don't want to have to learn something new, like Photoshop.
I'm begging...someone please help me find a version that's compatible with Windows 10. I'm going to have to quit my small business if not.
In case it matters, I sell custom made invitations for birthdays, baby showers, etc. So, I'm not just editing photos. GIMP is horrible, and I really want something similar to Digital Image Pro 9.0.
    Thank you ahead of time!

Found this: Microsoft Digital Image 9 Suite on Windows 10

Try the following link - some users have had success using it for Digital Image:

I had a similar problem where I had to abandon PictureIt! after XP. The problem is that these old image editors require an old version of IE, in my case ie6. I found a version of Photo Premium 10 last year where a registry hack would fool Win10 into thinking that IE6 was installed, allowing this 2004 program with a similar interface to PictureIt! (and Dig Img Pro 9 from web screenshots I can see) to be functional, letting me use old projects with this. Here's what PhotoPrem10 looks like -

Insert your orig install CD and check if ie6setup file is in the Redist/IE6 folder. If so, this hack may work on your DI Pro 9 too. If you want to PM me, I can put the install directions on my Onedrive and send you a link. Then if you want to try with your CD, I can put the registry entries and modified ie6.exe up to try. Or, if you think Photo Premium 10 will do most of what you want, I can upload the whole thing for you. Let me know if this helps, Cheers.
Edit: Ztrucker just posted similar directions. If you need a modified ie6.exe, reg entries or full Photo Premium 10 program, PM

The link I gave provides a way around the IE 6 requirement.

Thanks, modified my response. If it were only as simple as signing out during install, my MS image editor needed further modifications, incl a modified ie6 and reg entries but by the same author. Like the OP, I was just glad to have a program like my old XP friend which can do things Faststone can't.

Ok, I should have said that I'm almost computer illiterate, lol. So, doing that would really be a stretch. I no longer have my old cd for Picture It 9.0 unfortunately. I'm going to have to buy something. So, do you think it's worth the risk to buy Photo Premium 10? If not, I'm probably going to have to buy Photoshop Elements and take a class. Fortunately, cost isn't an issue. I just know every time I tried to use GIMP, it either wouldn't do what I needed, or I couldn't figure it out. I really appreciate your help!

Here's what I'm worried about. You know how in Digital Image Pro 9.0 you can build, in layers, something by starting with a shape? I'm scared that Photoshop won't do that. That's how I made my invitations. Do you know if Photoshop does that? What version?

Photoshop can do that.....In the UK the cloud sub is around £10/month. [edit] probably better to get the full version instead of PS Elements.

Krita might also be an option, it's free....Krita Desktop | Krita

"do you think it's worth the risk to buy Photo Premium 10?"
It hasn't been issued since 2004, so buying it is not an option. Did you see my screenshot in Post 3, does it look like what you're used to ?

    "

If this is the same as the Stack, then Photo Prem 10 does that, see Post 3 again. PM me if you want me upload the installation files and you can try it.
