    Plex problem with Windows 10 1903.

    As I mentioned in another thread, Plex fails after Windows Upgrade to 1903.
    There is a workaround for the same problem with the Creators Update.
    Should work with 1903.

    ‘For those having an issue with getting Plex to work with the Creators Update, here’s what your readers can do if they’ve upgraded Windows and run into this problem: look for the windows.old directory, go to syswow64, copy the mfplat.dll file from there and paste it into the c:\windows\syswow64 directory. Launch Plex again and you should be good to go.

    @Hairy Scot

    I'm running Plex under Windows 10 x64 (1903) without issue. Well without "Windows" issues. Plex itself is a mess after the recent spate of updates - Plex Media Server 1.16.3.1402 has been sabotaged I'm "20Drew" there.

    BTW are you running the server or player app. And what device is it running on?

    I had backed out 1903, but after stumbling across the article I quoted I decided to have another try.
    This time there were no problems with Plex.
    But I have hit some others. ***** windows!!

    I'm running Media Server 1.15 on a Gigabyte P27G2 Laptop

    I've found no compatibility issues between Windows 10 (1903) and Plex. However, as I stated, I've found Plex itself to be a mess. To name a few - missing album art, [Unknown album] [Unknown Artist], Network issues.

    BTW what I meant to ask is where is the app installed. I've got Plex Server installed on my Western Digital NAS and Plex Player installed on my desktop, laptop, and Samsung phone. No issues besides the Plex specific issues mentioned. And the latest version of Plex Media Server is 1.16.3.1433

    As for your "Windows" issues, all I can say is post the issue in the appropriate forum and go from there.
