Thanks Jimbo. That's cool to know. Which I didn't.
I have a Fire Cube and have the Kodi app but no NAS.
I've had no joy trying to reach 123CopyDVD Support, or Bling software, the manufacturer.
Guess I'm going to get a new rip/ copy program. I've started reading reviews, but if you know something about them I'm all ears.

Except it was from Winuser. I'll give you credit when I'm at computer instead of tablet.
TY !!!
The issue in the US is you are free to copy a DVD for your own use as long as you do not have to use software to bypass the protections. You can thank Clinton for enacting the DCMA laws. The act of bypassing copyright protection is the illegal part and why many sites like this one do not want to discuss the topic on software and HOW to do it.
Like everything else, what you do in your own home is up to you. I personally have not even powered up a DVD or BluRay player in years. Netflix, Amazon Prime videos, Hulu and youtube keep me more than entertained.
Winuser and Porthos-
thx for your input. and i get it about the convenience of streaming.
but even though many other folks don't much care, REALLY like 3D movies. it's tough to find those on the streaming options. i guess Netflix has a few, but there and in general they're hard to find.
and so i collect. and copy.
