MPC-BE Showing big Pixels on some .mkv files

I'm using MPC black edition x64 with external LAV filters set as priority.
Some videos (some .mkv formats as far as I've seen) are displayed with big pixels in a stair like shape. what is the problem?
I never had this issue with MPC-HC.

In the LAV decoder options, have you tried using a different Hardware decoder under Hardware acceleration methods to see if it makes any difference ?

I got the codecs recently (about a month), and at that time it was the latest version.

Depending on how it is set up, the LAV filter settings can be accessed by:

1 Right clicking the player window when a video is playing, and selecting, Filters > LAV Video Decoder

2 If System Tray is enabled in the LAV Decoder options, just click on the LAV Icon. (Again there is also a setting to enable the System Tray for the Decoder when you go through to the LAV Decoder Option shown above).

(Note: You can check if the LAV is enabled in the player, by going to Menu > VIEW > Options (and check in Filters Sections. To test things out, you can go to the "External Filters" Section, where it will show you all the media filters on your System and you can add all the LAV filters already installed, and then give them a priority of "Prefer")

If you need more information, try the following link (although the link is old, the information is still useful).

    Hope that helps.
