Software Whitelisting is policy not working windows 10 1903 update

I whitelisted specific exe and paths using the Group Management Policy (safer) but after the recent 1903 update, it's not working anymore. I'm able to run an application from anywhere. Is there any change in the latest update which is causing the Group management policy to misbehave? Is there any alternative to for Software Whitelisting Policy?

Hi, a very competent and interesting tool that whitelists, and also gives access to some 13 AV engines, whilst happily sitting alongside conventional AVs is SecureAplus, regularly updated. This makes it easy- if you're happy with everything running on your system, simply approve all. All new items launched will give you a prompt. Windows updates are handled similarly- you can just approve all items changed if happy.

Free licenses are given away from time to time.
