    Windows Store missing/broken

Hello. This is my first time posting on these forums. I want help with an issue that I've been having for a long time now and I've searched everywhere for solutions, but none of them worked so I thought maybe you guys can help me.

As the title says, after I did a fresh install of Windows 10 Pro 64bit on my PC I cannot reinstall Microsoft Store. I tried Wsreset.exe as administrator, creating a new user (didn't work) and the powershell command. When I used the powershell command for windows store, I get a bunch of errors, only red lines and nothing happens after that.

Did anyone else had this problem? If so how did you solve it preferably without reinstalling windows. I already did that and it didn't work.

    My current build is 1903.

    Hello Florin -

    Welcome to WTF!

Please try this procedure and we can go from there:

Re-register Microsoft Store app in Windows 10

    Let me know.

    Thanks.

    One more thing...

Either before (preferred) or after the above procedure.

Open a CMD Prompt as Administrator and type at the prompt:

    SFC /scannow

    Example -

    Windows Store missing/broken-scannow.png

Let it complete, reboot and test again.

    TIA

Didn't work I get the following:

    Add-AppxPackage : Cannot find path 'C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Microsoft.WindowsStore_11811.1001.1813.0_neutral_~_8we
kyb3d8bbwe\AppxMetadata\AppxBundleManifest.xml' because it does not exist.

I also did SFC /scannow too many times in the past and it had no effect.

    Hi again, Florin.

Read this carefully... and give it a go...

Repair Install Windows 10 with an In-place Upgrade

    Is this OK with you?

Already reinstalled/refreshed my windows. Did not help. I used to have windows store on the previous versions and now I don't have it anymore after I reinstalled/wiped drivers a couple of times, because of different problems.

I'm starting to give up on this matter since no one knows what my problem is .

    Hmm...

    Not done just yet!

You can also run DISM with the ScanHealth option to perform and more advanced scan to find out if the Windows 10 image has any corruptions.
To perform an advanced scan with DISM, use these steps:

    1. Open Start.
    2. Search for Command Prompt, right-click the top result, and select the Run as administrator option.
    3. Type the following command and press Enter:

    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth

If there are issues, then you can use DISM with the RestoreHealth option, which will run an advanced scan and repair any problems automatically.

    1. Open Start.
    2. Search for Command Prompt, right-click the top result, and select the Run as administrator option.
    3. Type the following command and press Enter:

    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

Once you complete the steps, the Deployment Image Servicing and Management command tool will connect to the Windows Update servers to download and replace any damaged files in the local image for Windows 10.

    Let me know.

    Thanks.

I'm doing this: DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth right now, will come with an update later.

I did this yesterday: DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth no effect.

Thanks for trying to help me anyways :).

    **Update**

I did DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth and it found no issues.
