is it difficult to use keyboards to replace mouse on web browsing?

I truly know that the most convenient way of browsing any websites should be using mouse, scrolling and clicking on whatever you want with a simple click.

What are the short-cut keys I can make use of when browsing a site so that I can skip the mouse?

I know that scrolling down could be replaced by hitting PageUp and PageDn key which is also as convenient.

How about clicking on whatever I am interested in? The only key I know is "Tab" but it often requires a lot of hits before reaching whatever I want and if I am not attentive enough I'll miss and start all over again.

Any other short-cut keys function which can be used in addition to the key "Tab" alone?

Potentially you could assign keys to mouse functions using Autohotkey- 1 line per function.

Example of command you could use:

Note the last two which assign Win key + up/down arrow.

For example, when I see your reply and want to mouse click on "Quote" to reply to you, but I don't want to use a mouse, and use only keyboards instead. Without having to "Tab", "Tab" and "Tab" for long time and be careful not to miss, any other better possibilities I can use keyboards to hit on the "Quote" button of this site??

I think the only workable substitute for a mouse in these circumstances is a touchscreen.

Touchscreens can often cost more than mice.

    Thank you for your reply.

CTRL F should invoke browser search function so you can locate end of text to quote.

Similarly searching for 'Quote' finds the ... yes.. Quote button.

    Next?
