Recommendations for viewing photos? (no facial recognition etc)

hello, new to Windows 10. I keep my photos organized in folders and intend to keep them that way. How can I open and view the photos in a given folder as a group? Any simple applications? I don't want to use Pictures because it seems to want to reorganize the pictures that I have already organized and put them in a new set of folders, so I need the world's simplest, most reliable application. Also I cannot start Pictures because it keeps putting up a screen to enable facial recognition, which I do not want. No matter how many times I click the "Decline" button this screen will not go away. I just want to view the photos I have already grouped.

You could try downloading and installing various free well-known viewers:
5 Best Photo Viewer for Windows 10 - WindowsFish
Best Free Digital Image Viewer | Gizmo's Freeware
5 Best Free Windows Photo Viewer Alternatives For Windows 10

(search for 'best free image viewer)

You may be able to restore the old Windows Photo Viewer (I'm assuming this is still possible in build 1903)

Always worth remembering you don't need to use Windows UWP apps.. there are usually more fully featured freeware programs that have been around for years.. and of course the Store may offer something if you prefer apps.

Yes, still there in 1903 and the tutorial works just as it always did.

Windows Photo Viewer is set as my default. It's so fast to open it's perfect for a 'quick look'. Photos is just too darn slow...

I am not understanding why viewing the photos within your folder with 'View as icons, large icons, etc.' does not serve your purpose?
