What App to use to open a .mht file?

I downloaded the MHTViewer from the Windows Store but it won't open my Windows Steps Recorder files.

I would appreciate very much another suggestion that can view a .mht file that has pictures mixed with text.

Is there a security risk using the Browser to view it?

The security risk is in using mht files from somebody else. The Steps recorder does not create any dangers.

Thank you much to both of you. The Browser won't open it either for some reason and just keeps asking me if I want to save it or open it and when I select either choice, it just opens another tab with the same question.

I figured it out; I got it to open with a HTML Editor that I downloaded for free from the link @NMI posted.

Html/Mht Editor WizHtmlEditor WizHtmlEditor Home, Homepage Editor, MHT Editor, EML Editor, MIME Editor

That ^^^ is the only thing that is opening them so far.

IE can open mht files. I think there are references to other browsers that can do so in The perils of using Internet Explorer as your default browser - TenForums
