    Looking For An Aspect Ratio Calculator Program

    Hello, so I'm looking for a program that looks neat and clean that can calculate aspect ratio calculations.

    An example of the Aspect Ratio Calculation goes like this:

    The way you can solve for x is like this:
    x = 97 times 4 divided by 35
    which is equal to about: 11.09

    • I am aware of the websites that could do that for me, such as: Aspect Ratio Calculator (ARC)
    • And also, I have one program already that does that for me, YET this program isn't programmed too well.
    I cannot type the numbers in like on that website and have it figure out the last number, in any random order.
    I must type a number in the bottom-left box, then a number in the bottom-right box, then a number in any of the other two top boxes, and the calculation of the last digit shows up in the final box on top. (Ignore the Megapixels box). This program is not programmed too well, and I'm looking for an app that is designed similarly to the website link above. I need it to be a small exe program for the computer, not a website.

    Thanks

    For a/b = x/y then

    y = x.b/a

    Simple!

    Hmmm. Well, there must be a reason why I'm looking for a program that does that.

    There's many calculations that I don't feel like computing with a calculator. I'd rather input the values and see them all in an on-screen window, like in the screenshot above.

    So.... I'm actually looking for a program similar to the one in the picture above. That's what I'm looking for. So please, I just want to clear up the confusion. I actually am looking for a program, not the formula.

    But thanks for the reply.

    Why not submit a feature request to the Calculator project.

    Hi folks
    Why not use the phone EXCEL app (it's free) and then simply input the values according to the equation that Steve C posted earlier in the thread.

    Or if on a computer create an excel sheet -- simply save it and click on it when you want to use it.

    If you don't have Ms EXCEL get one of the free compatible office suites out there - the spreadsheet formula is just the same.

    Cheers

    I use the old Calculator.

    And I'm just looking for a simple program that is separate from Excel. Something very similar to the one I posted in the picture above. Pretty much an alternate simple program that only does those functions, like in the picture above. I tried looking online for something similar to that. I'm sure there's something out there very similar to that, and that would be something that I need to use.

    This calculation is so trivial I doubt anyone will be bothered to write a program or app to calculate a simple equation.

    Hmmmm....well...someone wrote the app from my first post. I am wondering if someone else wrote a similar app like that one at some period in time.

    I'm just looking for an app similar to the one from my first post. That's actually exactly what I'm looking for. I would really appreciate it if people reply only with an alternate program suggestion from the one posted in my first post. Thanks
