    Snip & Sketch Issue

I have tried every way I can think of to add Snip & Sketch to my taskbar. You can pin it to start but not to taskbar. Why would that be? Just another small thing that will drive you crazy. I have the old snipping tool still on my taskbar so why can't I add the new one? I've created a shortcut on the desktop and tried dragging it to the taskbar but that didn't work. I use this a lot and it would be way easier on the taskbar. That's why I'm still using the old snipping tool. I'm running Windows 10 Home, version 1903, Build 1836

    Thanks for any help

    Hello Loopygram,

If you like, you can use Option 1 in the tutorial below to create a shortcut of the Snip & Sketch app on your desktop, right click on this shortcut and "Pin to taskbar", then delete the shortcut on the desktop.

What does work (1809) is to open Snip & Sketch, right-click on its icon on the Taskbar and select 'pin to taskbar'. Here's one I just created....

Ok I tried that but as you can see, the icon does not appear on my taskbar. I'm very confused.

Hi Brink. I already have the shortcut icon on my desktop but when right clicking there is no option to pin to taskbar or start for that matter

    Thank you.

Did you drag and drop the app from the Start menu to your desktop?

Brink I didn't even know it was in the start menu Duh, I had created that shortcut from instructions somewhere on the net
It is on my taskbar now. Spend so much time trying to do something only to find out how easy it is.

    Thanks again.
