Hi, I'm looking for a free app that actively listens to the audio card on the computer and whenever it recognizes English words, it types it as text.
Anyone know of something like this please?

I see microphone to text, nothing for audio out to text though, see above.
Are you thinking of " Dragon Naturally Speaking "? It requiers a microphone but you can pic one up for 10 bucks.

I'm looking for an app that can actively monitor the sound card (audio-out) of the computer, and translate what it hears to text.
So for example:
Suppose I go to a website and play an audio stream of somebody talking. Once the stream starts playing, the app will automatically take over the keyboard and start typing English text. Lets say I go to a stream where there's a person saying: "hello, my name is so-and-so". Once that stream starts talking and I have my cursor set to type inside a textbox, then the computer automatically starts typing: "hello, my name is so-and-so" until the audio output stops.
I'm looking for an app that could do that for me please.
