Cortana crashes when asking about my next appointments

Hello,
it's been at least one week since I encountered this strange problem with Cortana, working perfectly fine except when I ask about my next appointments "what's on my schedule?" (in Italian, but I guess it's the same in English or other languages)... in this case crashes silently with error:



When I ask other things like currency conversion, about the weather etc. Cortana works fine. Same for search function: no issues there. No DISM or SFC /SCANNOW errors found. Cortana reinstall using PowerShell was also useless.

Notice I use Windows Calendar + Mail std programs, and I'm afraid this started since some recent Windows Update... can you reproduce this error?

Personally, I would use a different calendar program.

Never going to happen. MS would have fixed the Cortana crashing issue by now if they cared. See this. Microsoft Says Cortana Won't Compete With Alexa and Google Assistant - ExtremeTech. MS has already teamed up with Amazon, to allow Alexa to handle Cortana commands. Microsoft does have the Cortana source code examples available on GitHUb.
