Ctrl+click apps on taskbar to select them

In Windows XP, when you had several open apps that showed up on the taskbar, you could Ctrl+left Click each one to select them. You could then close all of them at once. This is a little faster than right clicking each one on the taskbar & then selecting "Close window". Is there an app or setting to get Win10 to do this?

Thank you @Callender for pointing me to these solutions. In reading my original post, I see I was somewhat unclear. What I would really like to do is be able to Ctrl+click taskbar buttons to select them. Then I could just select e.g. 2 out of 5 windows, right click & perform actions like close them, tile vertically, etc.

I can do this in Windows XP, but I don't know if it was a feature, a registry hack, or a 3rd party app.

Thanks for that. But my Task Manager looks way different than yours. It doesn't have a Windows tab.

One more question. I read at https://www.howtogeek.com/howto/wind...n-the-taskbar/ that you could control+click taskbar buttons to select more than one & this was true in Windows XP. That article was written before Windows 10. I'd still like to know if there's a way to do this in Windows 10. Any ideas?
