    HEIC conversion tool


    Hello,

    I am wondering if any of you have a tool you could recommend to convert HEIC image files to jpg. I would like to be able to keep the original HEIC file just in case. I've got a bunch of image files that got transferred from iPhone to flash drive to Windows 10 pc, and I didn't know that they were in HEIC format. I've installed the codec on the laptop so I can open the files, but I would like to have the option to convert to jpg in case I want to share them in that format.

    The Microsoft store has a few, but I'm just not sure which one to go with. I don't mind paying a bit for it if it's safe and reliable.

    Try irfan view from IrfanView - Official Homepage - One of the Most Popular Viewers Worldwide. It supports most of the image file formats, but not sure about batch conversion facility

    Thank you! I'm familiar with Irfanview from many years ago, I didn't know it was still available. I did come across copytrans online, I just wanted to see if it was safe.
