    Search Engines

All my 'pc' life I have used Google but recently have been observing some disturbing trends with them; both political and privacy. Finally, I decided to try another and did a 'google' search for a good unbiased search engine with privacy (alleged). I am trialing duckduckgo on Vivaldi and so far it has come up with answers even quicker than Google. I do not trust Bing as its owned by Microsoft. Your views on search engines would be greatly appreciated.

duckduckgo seems to do what it says on the tin, but to me Google remains supreme in terms of presentation and relevance, not to mention some of its less well-known features.

I mostly use DDG but sometimes switch to Google or Quant. I meant Qwant

There are many privacy search engines, but only a few are un-censored, DDG being one of them, for now.

I checked your link and tried hotbot (I liked the name).

Like all the others (except Mojeek which seems to give very few results) they all are just front ends for Google, Bing or both.
