Hi, not sure where you are with this. Your first report says
Windows has made corrections to the file system.
    No further action is required.

    - which is great. But then you have further reports indicating problems remain. Please advise..

    If unsure run
    chkdsk c: /scan
    just to check once again.

Ok, so now to the in-place upgrade repair install which keeps all progs, data and most settings.

Now the safe way to proceed is first to create a disk image (Macrium Reflect -free) - which we often urge people to use routinely. Whilst an in-place upgrade repair install is a relatively safe procedure - the same as upgrading really- things can go wrong. Having the disk image ensures you have a way back.

If you have build 1803, you'd need an 1803 iso. But you also have the option of upgrading to 1809, the current build. But upgrading carries a bit more risk.

To find your build: Windows key + r, winver

Note: if your user profile is corrupted, this will not fix that- only system issues.
