Where to find documentation on WuMgr?

I just installed WuMgr but I need to learn the product. There are several options to choose from. I'd like to find documentation about each option and maybe some example settings with explanations. The options are not self-explanatory to me.

    Where can you find documentation?
It's an open source tool, so you're reliant on the developer as to what is provided. Or other users to make comments failing that.

E.g. one of the forum members wrote:
Toolkit Item: Introducing Windows Update Manager Win10.Guru

    - not meant as anything formal of course.

Ideally options are relatively self explanatory e.g. the button with a Search info tip = 'Search for updates' = do a scan.

    There's a better guide here:

How to download specific Windows 10 updates

I actually use WUMT Wrapper Script but it woks in much the same way.

What I don't understand about Wumgr.exe is under the Auto Update tab - Disable Automatic Updates. What's it for? If I check it, it seems to me that it does not allow me to do updates at all. So could someone explain what "diable automatic updates" is for and if I choose "Automatic Update", doesn't that defeat the purpose of selecting specific updates to install?

That means you stop Windows automatic update function and choose to take control yourself.

It then means whether and how you apply updates is at your discretion.

So, if you then choose to use WUMT/Sledgehammer to find and apply updates, you run that to selectively apply updates. Or you could download them manually and apply them, completely independently.

I don't understand the Auto Update tab options:
    Disable Automatic Update
    vs
    Automatic Update ?

Hide WU Settings Page - ? I don't remember seeing a windows update settings page. What does this option do?

    - - - Updated - - -

WuMgr does not show me an update to install build 1903. I'm using 1809. How do I upgrade? Or should I skip 1903?

Similar question has been asked and answered many times here, though about WU.
    a. Slow roll-out by MS
    b. Your PC may not be suitable (in which case you would get a message)
    c. To upgrade manually:
    - download the iso
    - create a new disk image (for your own safety) - e.g. Macrium Reflect (free)
    - follow usual precautions for upgrading (See tutorial on upgrading to Win 10 e.g.)
    - Log in as usual
    - rt click and Mount iso (assuming iso is not associated)
    - from new drive letter created run Setup.exe

I believe that "disable automatic updates" disable update checks by Windows. You can still install updates via the program.

Automatic Updates: You can tell program to run update checks at specified intervals and specific times. The pull-down list is for the set of options, which also include Disabled, Notification mode, Download only, Scheduled, and Managed by Administrator. None of those applies to Windows 10 Home. Those features are only available in higher versions.
