Where stores windows 10 the user info inside the registry

    Hello:
I am new in this forum and I want to resolve one problem. I have some apps (games) that save some files (save games) inside my documents dir (others in appdata or in C:\programdata). All that I want is change this path to inside game dir and with an app packer software (enigma virtual box), this is possible. At least in windows XP was enough virtualizing the registry key "user shell folders" but in windows 10 the same procedure don't work. I think that the key "folder descriptions" have something to do on it but I don't make it to work. Are there anything that fails?
    Thanks.

PD: I asked the same in Enigma VB forums and I got no answer.

Hi, the risk you take that even if you know which registry key to change, you risk breaking other major functions of Windows. For example, one well known (old) hack to change the path used for installing programs means any attempt to upgrade Win 10 fails.

As you know, new builds are released every 6 months.

Why do you wish to do such a thing? What advantage do you believe there might be?

    Hi to all.
Sorry for the delay. I have been testing those apps and is not exactly that I'm searching. It packs the game files on a big file and I need access to those files even though the game data is stored in the folder and doesn't work with another games, but that is other subject. I think that is a "hidden" registry key which I cannot find. If you want to know the reg keys that I tested, let me know.
    Thanks.
