    Burn CD error

I have mp3's on my computer that I want to burn to cd's. When I try to burn some of the files media player says Error:Windows Media Player cannot burn some of the files

If I click o.k. and then hit burn files it works. I did not edit the list at all, so why am I getting this error sometimes and not when I try again?

Hard to tell. Is there something other than an MP3 in the file folder?
I don't use WMP so I can't say why. I use Nero. MP3 discs are basically "data" discs.
Download and use the free "CDBurnerXP" (its Win 10 compatible despite the XP name) and try that.

Thanks, I really like that program. I also have Media Monkey gold but like your suggestion as well.

If you have another program, or download one, try that to see if you get errors. May be an issue just with WMP.
Also, only use CD-R discs, no CD-RW's.

I do a lot audio CD burning for my recording studio clients, but its primarily regular audio discs with wav files, not MP3's.

I only used cd-r and only get errors with media player so using another program fixed my error.
