O&o defrag not disk activity

Had anybody run into issues with using zoning/complete, where it stop defraging. Like it stalls and no disk activity for hours. Or goes to a craw.

Newest version.
Ran chkdsk /f
Sfc scannow
Ran dism repair
All came back clean
Optimize quick works for zoning
Stealth works


I just wondering it does it because it's a mechanical 2tb system drive and has 300gb left on it.

Hi, you may wish to check your disk's health.

Download and install Hard Disk Sentinel (trial) - gives the best instant comment I know on its GUI.
Else use HD Tune, Health and Error Scan tabs.

Post the result.
If ok, run
chkdsk C: /scan
from an admin command or Powershell prompt and post the summary result.

Whilst O&O defrag can do certain special things, normally nowadays defragging can be left to Windows.
