I stick to the "slim" version, and no problems or bundleware issues so far.
Get it from the CCleaner Builds page, usually posts one week after the latest version hits that page.

Try to remember the following reply to one of your earlier posts.
Beware CCleaner installation! - Page 4 - Windows 10 Forums
Yes, I did remember that post. After all the subsequent commotion I thought maybe Avast had learned it's lesson about auto-installing stuff. But I was wrong.
Oh well.
I never had a problem with filehippo in regards to CCleaner.
Here's another link for everyone, the full and immediate build direct from Piriform:
Thanks for downloading CCleaner
Or go with Ed's slim suggestion, as above.
That's it.
I just did my 3 Win10 computers today and one at our senior center yesterday. Go to
CCleaner Official Site | Clean speed up your PC | Piriform
None of the computers had any problems with Avast or anything else and haven’t for I don’t know how long.
--- When Avast took over, I did have to uncheck Avast at first but that’s been it.
--- I just checked my 3 computers and Avast isn’t anywhere in the system.
--- I don’t know if it makes a difference but I use Windows Defender.
--- What are you using for your anti-virus program?
Post #1 “At that point I decided to give up trying to delete Avast (I've been through that hassle before and didn't want to repeat it)”
--- I’ve had to uninstall Avast that came through when updating CCleaner on a few computers I serviced: fortunately it wasn’t difficult and those users are fine using CCleaner again.

I'm using 5.53.7034 Pro and never have anything else installed as a result of an update, going back quite at least since 2014 according to the purchase documentation. Perhaps it's because it's the pro version?
