Hi there .... Dalchina, since posting have taken stock of how I stand vis-a-vis OS's and have decided that my current experience with W10 is more than I am prepared to tolerate .... another piece of weirdness was the fact that in spite of the first thing I did after install finished was to uninstall OneDrive, that program had a folder camped in my username folder which contained a clone of everything on my desktop ... from behind the protective wall of a rescue image I uninstalled said folder and wrecked my install .... I really resent having features such as OneDrive foisted on me by Microsoft .... so to cut a long story short I'm currently running for cover back with good old W7, if I can get the lack of USB support issue sorted .... thanks for taking the trouble to reply ..... regards .....
