Invalid Pointer Operation when starting a program

    Hi.

I have a program that installs just fine on another W10 Pro, x64 (1809) box but when I start it in my own account here is what I see:

Name:	Error.png
Views:	11
Size:	4.1 KB
ID:	224085

Cleanly uninstalled the old revision to the program and installed the new one.

When I "Run as Administrator" the .exe works perfectly, but without that I get the above error. Why?

Ran the following two command in an elevated Command Prompt:

    DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth
    DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

Still nothing. I wonder if this is somehow "tied" to an earlier post of mine:

Cannot install some non W10 software updates - Permissions issue?

Works fine under the "hidden" Administrator Account, as expected.

Does something need to be changed/reset in GPedit?

The vendor TS says that they have never seen that error before upon program start.

Seems that more and more of my programs, when needing to be updated, install correctly in the "hidden" Administrator Account.

    Lots of questions. Any ideas?

    TIA

P.S. Hope that I don't have to establish a new user account on this system.
Is there a way to easily reset all permissions to default as my default logon is the only one?
