    to it broke it.

I still have two separate data base and text document backups and would like to fix it with a new install so it works as it used to.

Easy access to those dates is needed.

    Desktop Calendar

After it updated for some reason I am not sure how happened, the only control I had over it was managing to make it move across my split monitors where it got stuck becoming less than useless.

Making sure I had prior exported text and data base backups, I deleted it and even killed the registry entries for it and "Bejing Cloud". Simply haven't been able to make it work again and the developer is unresponsive.

    Any ideas?

I wouldn't be opposed to using anything native to Win10 and is there a way to import my back up, either text data base files a native win10 calendar?

will I be able to import my text or document backup files into it?

I found Mozilla Sunbird and it is a 2008 version which is allegedly the latest version and when downloaded, it will not install with a message from windows saying it has a virus in the installer?

    That Sunbird?

I gave you the wrong one. It is LIghtning Calendar. Sunbird is the older version. Mozilla Thunderbird - Lightning Calendar — Mozilla

    it appears to require Thunderbird?

Will it stand alone and work without it?

    Never mind, it won't.

    Thanks anyhow.

It's an add-on to T-Bird. Like extensions for a browser. Looks like this:

I'd really like a stand-alone calendar which worked like Desktopcal and if I can't fix whatever broke in it so I can reinstall it and make it work, importing my backup entries, then something that will work and accept those backups so I don't have to go thru and try and update 3 years of entries.

I don't want it to require a login, account registration or all manners of permissions. Just a simple calendar that I can populate with my backups.

Windows Calendar that comes with Win 10 is no good for you? Really mean...won't work for you?

I can find no way to import my prior and now FUBAR calendar's 3 years worth of entries into it.
