Why would uninstalling the Axialis Screensaver program delete data files unless there was a specific option within the uninstaller?

    How did you 'remove' it?
Well since there is no way to uninstall the two screensavers I made it was suggested I uninstall the program. Unfortunately, even after uninstalling Axialis Screensaver, the screensavers I made are still listed. Not a big deal just wonder where the data is hiding? Normally they should of been created in the system32 folder but in searching none where found.

You could try making a new one with a unique name such as XXYYZZ.scr then search in File explorer, This PC for filename:XXYYZZ.scr

Thats how I ended up with two screensavers. I installed the second to see where the file was.

Perhaps your searches are suffering from an indexing problem. Try searching with something like NirSoft SearchMyFiles that does not rely on the index facility.

Yes I found the build files to make the screensavers and deleted them. Still list the screensavers in the properties box.
Maybe Windows made a copy. Search for .scr in explorer or UltraSearch, then remove yours.

Here is an interesting lesson.. I have a file program I bought called Total Commander. I have used this program for many years and never run into this problem. It comes in two versions x32 & x64. It just so happens that I was using the x32 version and just realized that it does not list all of the files. I found when using the x64 version, files were now listed that were not in the x32 version. Must be because I made the screensaver files with a x64 bit program? Sorry about taking everybodys time I should of just used Windows Explorer.
