    movie & tv app in win 10 pc


    i have amazon prime video and sometimes the video takes place at night and very dark. there isnt any video controls for bight.& contrast in the app.
    i tried changing file assoc to vlc player but amazon video still goes to movie & tv app.
    i am half deaf and now half blind. is there a fix for this(the dark video not hearing and vision)

    Hi, welcome to tenforums - sorry to hear of your difficulty. I use Amazon prime, but play the videos in my browser. Like you, I find them rather dark quite often.

    I've just found an addon for Firefox which gives controls as you can see:

    - Night Video Tuner.

    Gamma is useful.

    Do you download the videos? If so, what is the file extension, and can vlc play the file?

    i tried changing file assoc to vlc player but..
    How did you try to do that? It won't work from within VLC player, which it certainly used to offer, but with a warning message. It has to be done using Windows features, like Open With, or using Settings for example.

    If the change is successful you should see the icon associated with the file type of interest change to vlc's.

    oh gosh dalchina.... you are wonderful.
    my browser is chrome so i googled similar to night tuner and got Video Styler for chrome and it works
    now i can brighten prime videos to watch bad acting.
