    Hi

Again, sorry for the late response. I was out of town on business. I will pass that info along and will make note of the brandings. We do want to leave 'ClassicShell' up and posted via certain links as it is still used for older systems and for legality reasons we feel it's right to make the original author and his work still available.

However, whenever 'Open Shell' is specifically referenced to it should indeed point to 'Open Shell' links. If you go to the 'help' section within the options you will notice it points to the original 'Classic Shell'. I am personally going to discuss this with a few peeps and at least change a few things...like the link in the lower left.

I will keep you guys updated.

All of the CS branding needs to be replaced with Open Shell, especially the url for an update
I posted this at their site and no one has even looked at it. I may go back to CS 4.3.1

I broke down and installed OS 4.4 134 and it seems more responsive than CS but the above is still broken, cannot update it.

In the case of an unrelated program on github I noted that updates failed because (the site comment said) of changes in security on github. Might be relevant here..

Could be but they do not have a website so how could it update? I am back on CS 4.3.1 it works great and I don't expect it to update. I saw a great number of things on Google saying that if you are using CS 4.3.1 you Change it before you update to 1809 as it won't work. Probably posted by a competing start menu.

    Just FYI..... Releases · Open-Shell/Open-Shell-Menu · GitHub

Yes I know, that is where I posted the problem. I was running OS 4.4.134 . I post that problem under issues. There is no way any OS can update from github.

Thanks, far as I can tell all that was changed was the link to GitHub instead of ClassicShell.net.

BUT..... the Help screen didn't quite make it.....

Or the Settings page....I stopped looking. I think he just fixed the Update Page quickly due to the minor uproar. That's ok, we all know where to find it. Oh, BTW...this (.135) is a nightly build. It's fine, I installed it and like I said, only change was the one link.

I got bumped to 1809 two weeks ago. Upon login Classic Shell said something about needing to "reconfigure" itself for the new OS.
It did so in about one second. Done. No problems.

Am I missing out on all the fun? :)
