    Snipping tool double printing ?

My Canon printer died a while before Xmas, Bought another similar Canon . A week ago my 4 yo Lenovo lap top wasnt good Snipping tool worked perfectly and printed on just one page . Bought a new Lenovo ideapad. Not aware of changing anything but if I try to use snipping tool to print anything it uses 2 pages . The 2nd page is printed first with hardly anything on it ?? Just a wasted sheet of A4 ......... Any one any idea please of how to fix this ??

    Hi MargM

    This sounds like ......

Windows 10 Snipping Tool printing problem

Did you load the Canon software on your new laptop?

Have you tried Screenpresso Free ?

    https://www.screenpresso.com/

I liked it so much I bought a version.

Do you have the same issue with Windows Snip and Sketch? Just type the word snip after clicking Start. Not sure if this an 1803 or 1809 feature.

    You are welcome.

Funny there was another thread with same issue. Must be a glitch.

Somewhat a digression, but I had not realized that the Snipping Tool in Windows 10 even had a Print feature. Evidently something new with Windows 10? Glad to see it, was clumsy to paste into something else to print in previous Windows versions. Another good reason to look at New Posts in TenForums.

It has always been better to Paste in to another Application which has better printing options.

The Snipping Tool only has your Printer options. May not include what you need, like fit to page.

The new "Snip & Sketch" tool is replacing the Snipping Tool, not much better with Printing options, but there is a preview.

I use IrfanView or Paint.NET either of which are better Image Applications for printing what you want.
