    Hi there

what's wrong with any cheap and nasty webcam - these generally have both video and audio recording capabilities and skype can use those without any problem whatsoever. You don't need a sooper dooper 4K UHD webcam -- bog standard 720p will work just fine and these are really cheap. e.g on amazon papalook 720p webcam with built in Microphone - 18 EUR (inc tax)

    Cheers

Thanks for your reply Jimbo! I don't understand how using a webcam would help me?

I really want to solve this problem so I can start using Skype again...

Thanks for your reply Jimbo, but I don't have a webcam... I still really want to be able to record my Skype calls.

Sorry if I seem to be a bit slow in trying out ideas, but I'm just under a lot of stress right now and it's hard for me to focus on one thing for a long time.

I appreciate your reply, but how can I be sure that the app doesn't contain any malware/spyware?

Note: I don't use Skype so cannot test. I can say that I use another program from the same manufacturer and that program was fine.

    Anyway here's what I see:

If you want to install then to be on the safe side you could install using this:

Choose one of the available modes from the drop-down list: record all sides, record other side only, record audio only.
