The weather app is completely inaccurate

I am running the default weather application in Win10 and it's completely off target. Says Sunday the 20th is partly sunny yet forecast.io says rain all day, and looking at radar, it seems like rain for the next day.
And I just refreshed it so I know it's not stale.
What's up with that? what good is it so incorrect.

    Hi, numerous factors:
    a. is the location and time shown correct? (think ISP vs your location perhaps)
    b. is weather variable within a relatively short distance of your location?
    c. how does its predication compare with that of any other forecast you can find on line?

    a. Location is correct
    b. Not variable, it's raining outside and the app shows cloudy
    c. this is precisely the problem, forecast.io shows rain, correctly.

I don't know what source it's connecting to. But it's not reliable enough that I can trust it with results. It does get it right most of the time but when it's raining outside for hours and it shows cloudy, it does raise questions.

My fav weather app is forecast.io, they have a color coded map.

In that case I'd opt for the window, rather than Windows...!

forecast.io does not seem to be a store app. I can find references with a Google search- when you say app, do you mean a UWP app or a downloadable installable program? Thanks!

I meant app in the generic sense. It's not a Windows app, more like of a website.
