Ok, was just chatting about it. ESET's defs are more up to date then than the others, or something.
    Hi there
WD's definitions by nature of Windows are updated more than anybody else's - must be since it's part of Windows and will be a part of any Windows updates and builds (which are coming thick and fast these days). I don't think any 3rd party app could keep up with this even if they try and be as fast as possible.

However ignoring the various merits of Anti Virus software the main point is that the new beta is OK now. Not flagged.

    Cheers

Good. Assuming you mean the .exe, .7Z was always ok. By "up to date", I was referring to accuracy, not frequency. Updates could be every 30 seconds, but if they contain FPs, or other anomalies, it's counter-productive.

v1.1.0-rc.1 has been released, I noticed that, when downloading the file, a WD notification appeared, but the file remained in the folder where I downloaded it, it was not blocked and I was able to use it without any problem, Malwarebytes did not detect it as a threat.

Thanks, Leo. Grabbed the .exe this time, and as reported, no Defender or MBAM whining and moaning! And it runs quick! Thanks.

Thanks, went and grabbed it. Noticed it has an option to create a multi-version (They called it virtual), so I tried it. Took about 25 minutes, and seemed to work.
