I just tried the same thing on another computer with the same result. Time to find another weather app.

Nope. It doesn't work at all now. I uninstalled and reset still does not work.

I too live in Canada, the app has always shown Washington in the start menu. I like the app and it's the only app I use.

Just curious, is it Washington, D.C.? If so both it and Montreal are in the same time zone, EST.

There's a similar thread on this forum about the weather app. The variation on this thread is that the app is stuck on Washington DC. I'm in Florida and from what I can tell, on a PC running version 1809, the live tile is cemented to Washington. Clicking on the live tile brings up my actual location, but after closing, the live tile is not live anymore, and waiting for ten minutes or so, the live tile is active for Washington again. Same with a newly created virtual machine on the same PC. On another PC running Windows version 1803 with the same version of the weather app, it all works as expected. How can this be? Is the problem with windows or the app. It would be nice if I could downgrade the app to find out, but I don't know how to do that.

Not that I know of, other than restoring a system image from before the update. Other 'live tiles' issues have been seen with this update.

Latest weather app update partially breaks the live tile - Windows 10 Forums

We can only wait for MS to issue the next update and hope it gets fixed.
