    Javafx application crashes in compatibility mode

    Hi,

    I have a JavaFX application which crashes if:
    1. Right click on its shortcut;
    2. Click on "Properties";
    3. Select the tab "Compatibility";
    4. Check the "Run in 640x480 screen resolution" checkbox;
    5. Click on the "Ok" button;
    6. Run the application.

    I would like to remove this option or remove the compatibility tab specifically for my application, so the users won't be able to select this option.

    I found some solutions using regedit, but it removes the option for all applications. Is there any way to remove it programmatically and specific for my app?

    Thanks in advance...

    PS: First time here, so if I posted it in the wrong place, let me know. Thanks!

    Have you seen this tutorial to see if it helps ?

    "add or remove the Compatibility tab on the property page of program shortcut or executable files for all users in Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 10."
