    Windows store error 0x80073CF9


    When I try to install some apps from the Windows store the download will stop saying it couldn't install the app. On the error details it gives the error code 0x80073CF9. One that is consistent with this error is the Microsoft Treasure Hunter game. I have searched this error on the internet and have found several things to try to fix it including wsreset, creating the apprepository folder(it was already there), and creating the auinstallagent folder(it was already there). None of these fixes the issue. I was hoping there was a fix for this without having to do a windows refresh. Is there anything else that can be tried before doing a windows refresh?

    This morning I had 4 apps which are continually downloading, I stopped the download on the 2nd attempt knowing it would fail. I reset the store app which reinstalled.

    I did this as well as creating a new profile. Nothing has worked so far. This is so frustrating. It has happened 3 times in the last year. I guess I am left with nothing but a windows refresh. Does Microsoft even know what causes this to happen?
