    Problem making transparency stick

    I have downloaded form GitHub an app that makes the taskbar transparent and it does a fantastic job but each time I power on or have to reboot for anything the transparency has to be reinstalled.
    Is there any way of making the transparency permanent?? as it is very frustrating having to reinstall it.

    This is the download link for it Releases · TranslucentTB/TranslucentTB · GitHub

    It's by design.

    The program does not autostart automatically with Windows. This means that it changes are gone whenever you restart your system unless you add it to the autostart.
    You'd need to create an elevated shortcut in your startup folder.

    Just found this info on the download page;

    To add TranslucentTB to startup, check the "Open at boot" entry in the TranslucentTB tray icon's context menu. If it is grayed out, TranslucentTB startup has been disabled from within the Task Manager or by your organization.

    Sorry mate but the Elevated didn't work and probably because I am a bit thick with stuff like that and the Translucent hasn't got a Context menu unless I am looking in the wrong place

    Looks like you've got the setup file pinned to taskbar. Unpin it.

    If the program is running the icon is in the system tray on the right.

    Right click a blank spot on taskbar and choose taskbar settings.

    Look for this:

    Then set like this:

    You should see the icon if the program is running.

    RE: Elevated Shortcut. It works for me. You would just need to use the correct paths.

    Anyway don't worry about that. Just look for the icon in the system tray and right click it.
