Just to be clear your screenshot shows the installer pinned to taskbar:

It's a brown color icon. Click it launches the installer.

Once installed launch via Program Files:

You should see a "TB" icon in the system tray. That's the one you need to right click.

Yes mate it is there in progranmm files and it is on the taskbar but it just will not survive a reboot or cold start.

Never mind it is just amatter of reinstalling it from the tasbar icon I suppose.

That taskbar icon (brown one) is the installer not the launcher.

Launch via Program Files > TranslucentTb > Translucent TB.exe

Then right click the icon in the system tray (notification area) - and not the brown icon on the taskbar.

If you don't see the TB icon on the bottom right of your screen because you've hidden notification area icons use the "up" arrow shown in the screenshot from the tutorial.

Assuming that you have hidden notification area icons and don't know how to unhide them:

The icon you need to click is the one with the "Then click here" arrow pointing at it. Ignore the brown icon or unpin it. It is simply for launching the installer (setup file)

Ok mate I have that icon now in the hidden icons and have everything marked as clear and enabled and open at boot but whatever I try it always returns to a blurred taskbar that is enabled through the Open Shell feature.

I am a bit bogged down with it all now and as it is not life or death I shall have to leave it as is

    Open Shell

Okay if you've got it launching on boot and there are still problems I'd be inclined to uncheck the boot option then uninstall it and maybe try ethel's suggestion.

Hi Everyone, I am using Open Shell 4.4.131 and have a translucent taskbar by going into the settings.
