    I need comprehensive ARROW FONT

I need to be able to add arrows to videos in Windows MovieMaker, and understand that Wingdings used to supply them - but that font has been withdrawn from Windows10 and Microsoft want £21 to replace it I don't mind paying a few pounds but that's ridiculous. I don't get paid for my toil.
I installed "Arrows ADF" and "ArrowFont" (from FontPalace, I expect), but only a small selection of the arrows shown actually install, and most are not pointing in directions I need - eg, Perpendicular Up/Down, Horizontal Left/Right, Diagonal Up/Down left&right.
Arrows with a bit of body and sharp points would be a bonus.
    Any suggestions gratefully received :)

I can find no evidence of a crime. My recent clean install of 1803 includes Wingdings, what version do you have?.

    Edit:
Wingdings was removed by the upgrade to 1809 on another of my machines.

If you have any of the products listed here you can copy the Wingdings.ttf file from it and install in 1809. You need version 5.0 or higher to include the arrows.

Wingdings font family - Typography | Microsoft Docs

If you have access to a machine with 1803 installed you can copy it from C:\Windows\Fonts

If you can't find Wingdings, then the Webdings font also has some pointers you could use...

If all else fails, here's an SIL Open Font License (OFL) font: Hussar Motorway font by KineticPlasma Fonts - FontSpace

...and here's a public domain Arrows font: Arrows font by JLH Fonts - FontSpace

    Now here's a curious fact @clemenzina.

The install media for 1809 as created by the Media Creation Tool DOES include Wingding.ttf. If you have the ISO or USB created by the MCT then you can explore the Sources\install.esd file by opening it with 7-Zip File Manager. You will find Wingding.ttf in the 1\Windows\Fonts folder. Why it did not get installed I cannot understand. It may have been a bug in the first release of the media, as that's the one I used to do my upgrade. It may (or may not) have been fixed in the re-released media. Either way, it is a simple matter to extract a copy to a temp folder and install it from there. I've done so on my x64 1809.

If you don't already have the ISO for 1809 you can download the Media Creation tool here with the 'Download tool now' button: Download Windows 10

Run the MediaCreationTool1809.exe you downloaded, select the option to Create media for another PC...' then choose to make the ISO file.

Edit: curious and curiouser - on another (this time 32-bit) install of 1803 that I upgraded to 1809 with the first release of the media it DOES have the Wingding.ttf font installed. Bottom line - it's supplied with 1809, but for some reason doesn't always get installed

First - thank you, Bree, you've gone to a lot of trouble on my behalf!

I have a lot of laptops, and one is still on 1803 but it only has Webdings and Wingdings Regular...

    However !!!

I then checked a Win10Pro 1809 and that has the whole caboodle, which I have now copied over

    However !!!

I now realise that it's not just those freebie fonts that are only partially available in WindowsMovieMaker - I can only get one line to choose a symbol from:

... which is a problem to be addressed somewhere else, and MovieMaker is no longer supported

(I expect it's all available in Adobe, but even if I had the £££ per annum, I probably couldn't understand it. I do all my editing with a different free editor and use MovieMaker for titles/captions if required.)

    Thanks again, much appreciated :)

EDIT - OOPS !!! I figured out the Wingding method now
