Can't install exe files after download

Need your help with this and I am not sure exactly what happen with this. Anyway for the last two days I download the files in zip from the Internet like one is Majorgeeks (mostly). No problem to download onto downloads folder then unzip the exe file to temporary folder on desktop. Then I am ready to install the exe file with first right click Run as administrator and sometime pick express or custom install. It start to install with no problem but near the end of installing and got the error message with " Access is denied " so the installation is not completed. Now I would like to know where to find this to fix the problem so I can install smoothly with no error message, " Access is denied. " I think that more likely the problem is with registry but I am not sure till someone here might be able to help with this to fix the problem.

Access denied can be due to Defender's Ransomware Protection blocking access to your protected folders, some of which the installer may be trying to write to. Sometime the only thing access was denied for was creating a shortcut on your desktop, in which case the program was installed and works but the installer may report this as an error.

You could turn off controlled folder access temporarily to do the install, but only if you trust the source of the download, and then only after you have scanned the download for viruses!

OK I have followed the tutorial and still have a problem. Anyway what I did is to try to install one of exe file and got error message. And here is below:

    Error

You do not have access to make the required system configuration modifications. Please rerun this installation from an administration account.

I am not quite sure about this above.

What is it you are trying to install?

I presume you are already signed in as an administrator. You could try right-click on the installer and run as administrator.

This thread found success by installing in clean boot mode.

Please post a screenshot of the Please rerun this installation from an administration account dialog. It does not sound quite right.

A properly-written application would have generated an Admin prompt to get Admin permission to proceed rather than issue the dialog to which you referred. If it did not do so then you cannot fully trust that application even if it is well-intentioned.

It appears to be a standard Windows error message, though I'd like to see a screenshot too. Here's an example from the days of XP...

"It does not sound quite right" because it is not the wording I would expect to see in Windows [Vista?,] 7, 8 or 10. The method of escalating to Admin accounts was completely rewritten for Vista then again for Windows 7 and the words Please rerun this installation from an administration account have no proper place in the new scheme.

It is possible that an XP application might want to generate that dialog when an installation fails [in which case it could be re-attempted using a Compatibility mode by right-clicking on the installation exe, selecting Properties then the Compatibility tab] but I do not understand Windows co-operating by displaying that message.
