Is it Possible to Disable Cortana?

I've read that trying to remove cortana from win 10 will break windows. But is it possible to disable cortana?

I am curious why one would want to disable Cortana. Is it a problem to use it?

Hi retexan599, I do not use Cortana, and it is not because I see it as a problem to use, it just comes down to personal preference. I just like to search in the search box for local apps, settings, and files, and open a browser to
find out other things or come to this forum, and find out.
