Windows 10 requires me to 'Open app with' on EVERY app I open

    Hello,
I had a problem some time in the past and I managed to solve it via the help of the internet, but I changed some kind of option or so and now, whenever I try to open anything it requires me to "Open app with", even when I started windows today it gave me a error related to system32 or something but finally managed to start up. Even when I try to start task manager it gives me an error, when I opened chrome it required me to select chrome from the list in order to open it.
The problem is irritating and sometimes it slows or stops my work, I would very much appreciate your help in order to turn back whatever I changed before.

Thank you very much in advance,

    Robert.

Hi, it's very helpful if you can quote the exact text of an error message, as this is needed for research (i.e. it's a great idea to search using that text).

As you seem to have multiple problems, best start from basics rather than trying to resolve solely issues of default apps.

    1. First check your disk(s):
Download and run Hard Disk Sentinel (trial) (includes SSDs)
(This gives exceptionally good text comments)
Post a screenshot of its GUI using the Insert Image icon above your post.
If all disks are reported as good, continue.

    2. Now check your file system:

From an admin command or powershell prompt
[Windows key + X, click command prompt (admin)]
    chkdsk C: /F
Your PC will need to restart.
Post back the result, which you can get after a restart as follows:
Read Chkdsk Log in Event Viewer in Windows 10 | Tutorials
    or
How to read Event Viewer log for Chkdsk in Windows 10 [Tip] | dotTech

    3. If ok, then from an admin command or powershell prompt
    SFC /SCANNOW
    and post the result.

Which is your Windows build? This is essential, and so many omit it.
Windows key + R, Which Windows build are you using?Windows key + R, winver

    Home or Pro?
    What type of disk?

    -Windows 10 EDUCATION
    -HDD 1TB
I cannot open anything with Windows Key + R because : " C/:WINDOWS/System32/winver.exe (or basically any other thing)

    Application not found "
Couldn't even do the setup for HDD sentinel because it required me again to open it with an app, somehow it started when I ran it by administrator (but this doesn't work with many of the other apps)
I remember last time I did something before this problem, I used the SFC /SCANNOW command and restarted my pc (or some command that took as long and was represented by %)

The SFC /SCANNOW thing takes some time, so I am writing this reply now, also I ran the HDD sentinel but it is in my language (romanian), how do I change it to English (on the setup I selected english but it switched to romanian).

It sounds like something quite serious has happened.

In order to test your disk, either:
Run this portable program (from a flash drive e.g.)
    Download Portable HD Tune 2.55
Post the result of the Health and Error Scan tabs

or (if you can't do that)
Please create a live boot disk using Kyhi's iso, available from the top of the Software and Apps section here.
You can use the instructions from Option 2 here as a guide:
    https://www.google.com/url?q=http://...vKX8srUrg9ir_A
    but use Kyhi's iso.

Boot your PC from that and run HD Tune (supplied by the disk - you can see the desktop screenshot where you donload it from)

I don't know how serious it is, nothing happened much, just programs not opening how they normally would.

Anyway, let me translate some of what it says in romanian:

    'Performance: 100% (Excellent)
    State/Condition: 36% (Acceptable)

The disk tries to examine and redeem the sector(s) 355 times. The area under examination is perfect.
1488 sections prone to error. They can be relocated to a subsequent use of the disc. More information: Hard disk case: weak sectors
At this time, replacement according to the warranty is not possible, except for further degradation.
Period disc journal review is recommended. All the problems found will be saved here.

    Temperature:

    Current temperature: 40°C
    Medium temperature: 40,22°C
    The maximum temperature: 42°C
The maximum temperature(of all times): 49°C
