microphone icon in taskbar...how to remove please see sceenshot!

My microphone Is not actually being used but for those who don’t want to see this I went into settings taskbar, turn systems icon on or off and toggled microphone off

Your problem caught my eye so I did a little research and it would appear that this problem has existed for some time, and there apparently is no solution....at the moment.

Having said that....there are some 'very clever' guys here on ten forums who may be able to assist you further.

This is what I was talking before about seeking help from MS people and others. Compare the MS mumbo jumbo that ends with no-help and Edwin's simple tip.

Sometimes when I see something new like the “microphone” lol.. I Ask for help but over here I know I can ask anything because on MS forums it’s the usual, reset, Sfc scan now... bla bla... I’m on a insiders build and MS should know these things. That’s why I’m happy this site exists. !!!
