    App Mode in Context Menu....

    Windows 10 1809

i added the App Mode in Conext Menu to toggle light and dark...

it is not working, always worked in the past, windows explorer has to be terminated for it to work so i think where its pointing to is incorrect....

    Hello Steven,

If you mean the context menu from the tutorial below, it will only affect the default app mode, and not the default Windows mode added in build 18282.

Explorer doesn't need to be restart for me to apply the change though.

I thought it would do the same effect as going into settings and changing color from light to dark

It should for the default app mode color.

As a test, open Settings (Win+I), and see if it changes light/dark theme color when toggling the context menu.

Ok did a test. It doesn’t half he job lol , I changed it to light from the context menu, but the the color off tge context menu stayed black, but tin settings it says light.
So from the context menu when I choose app mode light on the settings app becomes white, everything else stays black.

Odd. What build do you have installed of 1809? Maybe it's a bug in that build.

Hmm, I just did some testing with that build, and nope the context menu light/dark mode doesn't get changed by this context menu unless explorer is reset first.

I'm not sure, but in build 18282, you don't have to restart explorer for it to fully work.
