PdaNet+ not installing Network driver err=5b4

I am attempting to install PdaNetA5214 on my HP 64-bit laptop with no success. I have the app installed on my Galaxy s4 from Straight Talk (SM-S975L) which is Android 4.3 and cannot be upgraded. The phone is connected as a camera, checked for USB debugging, and the app is checked for USB Tether. Each time I have attempted to install on the laptop the program installs, then the USB driver installs with no problem but I get a failure on the network driver: Update driver for Plug and Play Devices err=5b4, the second box says “Fail to install PdaNet Broadband Driver.”
Can anyone help me on this?

"see if an older Google USB driver works: on the computer go to Start->Programs->PdaNet and select "Install Legacy USB driver" then wait for it to tell you it is completed. Reconnect and see if it helps." PdaNet+ Help You do not need any extra software to allow you to tether to your device, if you wish to use it for Internet. It will be pretty slow.

PdaNet uninstalls when the network driver doesn't install so it is not in programs to give the ability to install Legacy USB driver. I have gone through the helps on PdaNet+ and have not found a solution. Isent a request to them for help on Thursday but have not received a reply.

Their solution is what I posted. If it does not work, then the person who created this software borked it.

    Issue resolved

For people who might read this thread later looking for a solution, I received a response from PdaNet+ support yesterday that solved my problem:

Do you happen to have Zone Alarm or AVG installed on your computer? If so please uninstall it and then reinstall PdaNet. You can put them back after you are done installing PdaNet. Thanks, June Fabrics PDA Software Support

After uninstalling Zone Alarm the PdaNet+ free version installed without a hitch and works perfectly. Reinstalled Zone Alarm and the free version still works perfectly.

Highly recommend PdaNet+ and their support team. It took a few days longer than I had hoped but they are efficinet.
