MP3 Metadata Problem...Can't Edit Without Deleting Other Values

I'm not sure this is a Window's problem/issue, but hopefully someone here can help out...

Basically, when I edit the Album info in the metadata, it deletes all the other metadata.

I bought the new 50th anniversary Beatles White Album. All 6 discs are named something different, and I wanted to change the name so they're all the same except "Disc 1", "Disc 2", etc. But, when I change it and save, it deletes track name, number, year, artist, and doesn't even save the album name.

Ironically, once it deletes everything, I can can go back in, track for track, and all all the info back. I can even change the album name then and it doesn't delete anything. Just the first time I try to edit anything.

Any ideas or suggestions would be helpful.

Edit to add. The picture included is right after I tried to change track 1's album name. It cleared out everything else.

Well, I think I found the problem...

Since I ripped the discs in iTunes, they're encoded by iTunes. Once I change any value, everything drops out.

Guess that's the price to pay to be able to do whatever you want with your media. I suppose if I have to go line by line to edit everything, it's worth it to me.

Here are some ideas about programs I used to sort out the MP3 metadata to ensure my car displays track details correctly.

    1. Use the free program Tagscanner https://www.xdlab.ru/en/ to check and edit the MP3 file metadata for artist, album art etc. The same editing can be done in iTunes but Tagscanner is much easier and faster. Check both the artist and album artist fields are completed, the song name & album name are correct, track number & disc number are set and that embedded album art is present for every track. Note multiple tracks can be selected and edited simultaneously.
    2. Use free program MP3Test http://www.shivi.de/MP3Test-EN.html to quickly check and test for MP3 file errors. Correct any simple errors using Tagscanner.
    3. Use the free program MP3Diags http://mp3diags.sourceforge.net/ to perform a detailed check of MP3 files and correct errors. This program has a learning curve and some experience to use.
