Install error

When trying to install a program I get following error:
Setup was unable to create the directory "c:/users/<name>/documents/<dir name>"
I get this error for several programs I want to install.

Looking at the security settings of "c:/users/<name>/documents/" I see that the logged in user has full control on this firectory. (I even gave eveyone full control)
manually I can create a directory into "c:/users/<name>/documents/"
Even when trying to install a program "Install as admin" I get the same error.
This never happened before.

Can anyone help me please?

apparently the installer wants to create a temporary file in "c:/users/<name>/documents/"

The contents of my c:\users\<>\documents\ folder look just like the contents in your folder (with different names of course).
And yes, they were not created by myself but by the installation process.
the rights on the folder are exactely the same as yours.
and yet.. I get an error saying that in this folder the installer cannot create a new folder.

Quite likely. Some installers create user folders and/or desktop shortcuts, Macrium for example puts a shortcut in C:\Users\Public\Desktop (a protected folder). For such installers I temporarily turn off Controlled Folder Access to allow them to do so.

NB: only turn it off if you completely trust the source of the installer!

I did all as sugested but to no avail.
What I saw in Defender Windows Security protected folders was that "c:\users\<name>\documents" was protected but can't be removed.
Can this be the problem?

Huraah!!!! it works.
I turned Controlled Folder Access in Ransomware protection completely off and everything installs just fine.
I much appreciate all the help I got; without that I never could have find a solution.
