Why bother with REVO etc - msicuu2.exe from Ms still works on W10

    I have used REVO Pro for years, it just works. Total Uninstall is also a great tool but a tad harder to use.

    The control panel uninstaller works nicely ... and it's free!

    The Windows removal (Control Panel in the post above mine) leaves lots of artifacts, files, etc. Uninstall programs such as Revo Pro find most of these and give the user the option to remove them. Notice I said give the user the option too remove them, which is important.

    Yes, it is free (part of Windows). It does an ok job, but..... it is basically a front-end to the application's uninstaller, if there is one. So whatever the vendor decides to uninstall and leave behind under the rug is what you get. Fireberd has filled in the rest of the story.
